Sahifa is the kind of theme I still pick when the job is simple: a news/magazine site with lots of categories, ads, and widgets, not an Elementor “page builder project”. It’s built around classic WP mechanics—loops, sidebars, and theme options—so you can ship a professional front page without assembling 40 sections by hand.

It shines when content volume is high and the editor workflow matters. It’s less fun if you want a totally custom layout per post type; then you start fighting its template logic.

How it works in WordPress terms (what overrides what)

Most of Sahifa’s “magic” is not a plugin stack, it’s theme structure:

  • Theme options (logo, colors, typography, ads slots, header behavior, social, performance toggles) are stored in the DB (wp_options). If you migrate the site and forget the DB, the design “disappears”.
  • Layout is driven by template files and widget areas. Front page blocks are usually combinations of category queries + custom widgets. That’s why it feels fast to set up: you configure, not design.
  • Post pages, category pages, and homepage sections come from PHP templates under the theme folder (/wp-content/themes/sahifa/…). If you want to change markup for a single element, it’s a child theme job.
  • CSS/JS are enqueued by the theme. If you start delaying scripts globally, you’ll break UI bits (sticky nav, sliders, AJAX tabs) before you notice.

Editable vs hardcoded, the clean split:

  • Editable: Theme panel/Customizer settings, widget placement, ad codes, menus.
  • Hardcoded: anything in single.php, category.php, template parts, widget PHP output. Use a child theme for changes.

Where it usually breaks (real conflicts) + quick fixes

1) Homepage blocks show wrong posts / duplicates / ignore sticky logic
Cause: the theme runs multiple category queries, and plugins tweak pre_get_posts or add “related posts” filters globally.

What I do:

  • Disable “query modifying” plugins one by one (related posts, view counters, some SEO “boosters”).
  • If you have custom snippets, check for pre_get_posts that doesn’t limit itself with is_main_query() and !is_admin(). That’s the classic bug that wrecks magazine homepages.

2) Sliders/tabs don’t work after enabling optimization
Cause: JS delay/minify breaks dependency order.

Fast fix in caching/optimizer:

  • Don’t delay jquery-core.
  • Exclude theme scripts from delay if needed (names vary, but you’ll see them in DevTools → Network as theme JS under /themes/sahifa/…).
  • DevTools → Console is your truth: if you see $ is not a function or plugin init errors right after load, it’s script order.

3) Mobile CLS / layout jump with ads
Cause: ad widgets load late and push the layout.

Fix that actually works:

  • Give ad containers a fixed min-height in Custom CSS (Customizer → Additional CSS), especially in sidebar and in-post positions.
  • If you use lazyload ads, reserve space. Otherwise CLS scores will be ugly no matter how fast your server is.

License / activation / updates (plain language)

The theme usually runs without a key, but without activation you typically lose auto-updates and vendor support (and sometimes bundled plugin updates). In my package it’s activated and working (tested by me).

Updating safely:

  • Manual update: Appearance → Themes → Add New → Upload (ZIP) or replace theme via FTP/SFTP.
  • Any edits inside the parent theme get overwritten. If you changed PHP/templates, move them into a child theme first.

Manually Update WordPress Theme Guide
You can find detailed instructions on how to update a theme or plugin on this page.

FAQs (the ones that waste the most time)

Yes, but the theme’s strength is its native magazine templates + widgets. Elementor pages can look “foreign” unless you match typography/container widths.

Those plugins often hook pre_get_posts and accidentally affect archives/home queries. Fix is scoping with is_main_query().

Usually “works”, but it’s not a shop-first theme. Expect styling gaps (checkout, cart, account) unless you add Woo-focused CSS.

Don’t edit the parent theme. Use a child theme for PHP/CSS overrides; use Customizer/Theme options for everything else.

Before you send us a support request, take a quick look at our Terms Of Use and FAQs. We know nobody loves reading them, but very often the answer is already there and saves you some time.

What to do first

  1. If that doesn’t help, check the product documentation next.
A lot of small issues come from missed settings or simple setup steps, and the docs usually clear that up pretty fast.
  2. Still not working?
No problem — just open a support ticket and tell us what’s going on. We’ll take it from there.
  3. When to expect a reply
We usually get back to you within 1–2 business days. Sometimes faster, depending on the issue.

How to explain the problem (this really helps)

  • Be specific
Instead of saying “it doesn’t work,” tell us what exactly is going wrong. Which button? Which feature? What were you trying to do when it happened?
  • Add screenshots
Screenshots make a huge difference. Seriously. A simple image (or link to one) helps us understand the issue right away and saves a lot of back‑and‑forth.

Following these steps helps us help you faster — and with fewer questions along the way. Thanks for making support easier for everyone.

With an active membership, updates are always included. You’ll have continuous access to the latest versions for as long as your membership remains active, without worrying about expiration dates.

Yes, we do. In most cases, you can expect a reply within 24–72 business hours. For simpler issues, we’re often able to respond much sooner.

You can contact us via live chat or open a support ticket directly from the product page — whichever is more convenient for you.

No, there are no limits. We don’t believe in restricting downloads. If you need to download a product multiple times, that’s absolutely fine.

We use professional, high‑performance storage systems to ensure downloads are fast, stable, and hassle‑free.

No, license keys are not included. In the past, license sharing and related issues caused account problems, so we decided to stop distributing keys.

That said, all products you receive are fully authentic. For items that normally require activation, we provide them pre‑activated, allowing you to install and use them immediately without dealing with license input or activation errors.

Yes — 100%. All products are original and distributed under the GNU GPL v2/v3 license.

The main difference compared to purchasing directly from the original author is that we don’t offer additional services such as custom development or one‑on‑one support. License keys are also not included. Instead, products that typically require activation are delivered ready to use, allowing installation on unlimited websites.

Yes, we stand behind our products. If you encounter an issue that cannot be resolved or a technical problem without a workable solution, we’ll do our best to help — and if necessary, issue a full refund.

Please note that refunds are not available if the product works as described but simply does not meet personal expectations. We’ve also encountered cases where refund requests were made while the product was still in use, which we cannot allow.

Our approach is simple: fairness and transparency. If you ever have a concern, just reach out — we’re always open to finding a reasonable solution that works for both sides.
