The theme is built to sell catalog depth: product grids, category navigation, search, account/cart flow, and product detail pages matter more here than decorative layout tricks.
The main value of Medilazar is speed of setup for a medical-style storefront. The main risk is the same as with most WooCommerce themes: once optimization, AJAX features, and custom filters are stacked together, shop behavior breaks faster than the homepage does.
What is editable and what is hardcoded
In Medilazar, the usual visual controls are editable from the theme options or Customizer: logo, colors, typography, header style, footer, shop/archive layout, and some product-page settings. Those are database-stored settings and normally survive updates.
Page-builder content, if the demo uses Elementor or WPBakery blocks, is editable in the builder and saved as page content. Reusable demo sections may come from a template library if the theme includes one.
The hardcoded part is the theme’s PHP template layer. Product loop markup, single-product structure, WooCommerce overrides, header logic, archive templates, and some AJAX features are controlled by theme files. If I need to change HTML structure or hook placement, I do it in a child theme. Editing the parent Medilazar files works once and is overwritten on the next update.

The common failure is aggressive cache optimization. Delay/minify can break:

- mobile menu/account dropdowns

A variable product shows attributes, but price/image/availability do not update after selection.

Checkout issues are usually not theme-core problems. They come from third-party checkout plugins, payment scripts, or fragment caching. On checkout/cart pages, page cache must be bypassed.
WooCommerce structure and update safety
Medilazar relies on WooCommerce templates plus theme overrides. That means two things:
- WooCommerce updates can expose outdated template overrides
- parent theme edits are not safe
If after a WooCommerce update the cart, account, or single-product page looks broken, compare the theme’s WooCommerce template overrides with the current plugin version. If the store was customized directly in the parent theme, move those edits into a child theme before updating again.
