I deploy this plugin when a site needs a full job board, not just a contact form with vacancies. It suits recruiters, niche boards, and companies that need jobs, employer profiles, candidate accounts, and paid submission flow in one stack.

The strong side is coverage. Jobs, employers, candidates, dashboards, filters, and package sales are already there, so I’m not stitching five separate plugins and cleaning up the mess later.

What’s under the hood

Most control lives in WP Admin → JobSearch / Settings. Core data is stored the usual WordPress way: jobs as post-type content, heavy use of post meta, user-related bits in user meta, global options in wp_options. If paid listings are enabled, WooCommerce handles orders and products; JobSearch handles the board logic around them.

Front-end output is a mix of plugin templates, shortcodes/widgets, and theme integration. Text labels, page assignment, search behavior, and form options are editable in the dashboard. Card markup, single job layout, and some dashboard pieces are not “visual builder” territory — that’s template/PHP work. If the theme ships JobSearch overrides, theme files win; if not, custom output usually means hooks or safe overrides in a child theme, not plugin edits.

Assets are decent but not lightweight. On listing and dashboard pages I usually see Select2, sliders, form JS, map-related scripts, and AJAX traffic. With caching done right it’s fine. With aggressive optimization, it gets brittle fast.

Where it breaks first

The common faceplant is JS optimization. Delay/minify often reorders dependencies, then filters or submit forms stop responding. In DevTools Console, the usual clue is select2 is not a function or a map/init error. In Network, check blocked or late files around Select2, reCAPTCHA, Maps API, and the theme’s merged JS bundle. Fastest fix: exclude jquery-core, Select2-related files, and the plugin front-end bundle from delay/defer.

If WooCommerce sells job packages, checkout issues are the second hotspot. Delayed wc-checkout or wc-cart-fragments can break package assignment or cart refresh. I fix that in the cache plugin exclusion list first, not in Woo settings.

Performance drops on large boards usually come from meta-heavy filtering. Query Monitor will show the pain immediately. The quick win is trimming filter widgets, caching archive pages carefully, and avoiding “optimize everything” plugins on member dashboards.

VirusTotal archive check

All products we provide come only from official sources and verified developers. To confirm their integrity and safety, the archive has been scanned for viruses and malware. You can review the scan results at any time by clicking the button below.

License, activation, updates

Plain version: it can run without entering a key, but that does not mean you get the full vendor ecosystem. What you lose without proper activation is usually dashboard auto-updates, official support, and any remote package/demo pulls tied to the author server.

Manual updates are simple: upload the new ZIP in Plugins → Add New → Upload Plugin, or replace the plugin via FTP. Any edits inside the plugin are overwritten on update. Custom code belongs in a child theme or an MU-plugin. I can’t honestly verify third-party “pre-activated” copies; the safe path is the official package.

FAQs (the stuff people actually trip over)

Because JS load order changed. Exclude jquery-core, Select2 files, and the plugin’s front-end script from delay/minify, then retest in Console.

Usually no. Settings cover labels and behavior. Layout-level changes are template or hook work.

For runtime, often no. For auto-updates, support, and vendor-connected extras, yes.

Meta queries and AJAX filters stack up fast. Check Query Monitor, reduce filter load, and don’t cache logged-in dashboard pages blindly.

Before you send us a support request, take a quick look at our Terms Of Use and FAQs. We know nobody loves reading them, but very often the answer is already there and saves you some time.

What to do first

  1. If that doesn’t help, check the product documentation next.
A lot of small issues come from missed settings or simple setup steps, and the docs usually clear that up pretty fast.
  2. Still not working?
No problem — just open a support ticket and tell us what’s going on. We’ll take it from there.
  3. When to expect a reply
We usually get back to you within 1–2 business days. Sometimes faster, depending on the issue.

How to explain the problem (this really helps)

  • Be specific
Instead of saying “it doesn’t work,” tell us what exactly is going wrong. Which button? Which feature? What were you trying to do when it happened?
  • Add screenshots
Screenshots make a huge difference. Seriously. A simple image (or link to one) helps us understand the issue right away and saves a lot of back‑and‑forth.

Following these steps helps us help you faster — and with fewer questions along the way. Thanks for making support easier for everyone.

No, license keys are not included. In the past, license sharing and related issues caused account problems, so we decided to stop distributing keys.

That said, all products you receive are fully authentic. For items that normally require activation, we provide them pre‑activated, allowing you to install and use them immediately without dealing with license input or activation errors.

Yes — 100%. All products are original and distributed under the GNU GPL v2/v3 license.

The main difference compared to purchasing directly from the original author is that we don’t offer additional services such as custom development or one‑on‑one support. License keys are also not included. Instead, products that typically require activation are delivered ready to use, allowing installation on unlimited websites.

Yes, we stand behind our products. If you encounter an issue that cannot be resolved or a technical problem without a workable solution, we’ll do our best to help — and if necessary, issue a full refund.
